ACX is Audible's audiobook distribution platform and the technical standard for all audiobook submissions. Files must meet strict requirements for noise floor (below -60dBFS), RMS level (-23 to -18 dBFS), and peak level (-3dBFS). Fail these and your submission will be rejected. We master to ACX standard on every project and guarantee acceptance - if Audible rejects for technical reasons, we re-record and re-master at no cost.

As a guide, we estimate roughly 9,000 words per studio hour at a comfortable narration pace, including short breaks. We aim to deliver your finished, ACX-mastered audio files within 5 to 7 working days of your final recording session. For larger projects this may be slightly longer, but we'll agree a timeline upfront. Files are delivered digitally in your required format, ready to upload directly to Audible.

If you need to add a new chapter, record a sequel, or update any content, we guarantee to use the same voice artist you originally worked with (for cast productions) or the same studio setup. This ensures audio consistency across your entire catalogue.
